節能觀念

"Energy conservation" does not mean reducing electricity consumption by lowering the standard of living, but rather using advanced technology to raise energy efficiency, not only to cut energy waste but also to improve the quality of life.

Therefore, the latest notion of energy conservation is not to reduce the use of lights and air conditioners, which causes discomfort and low efficiency in life, but to develop new technologies for energy savings, so as to boost the efficiency of energy production, transmission and consumption, such as by increasing the production efficiency of power plants, minimizing losses in the transmission of electricity, studying the use of solar energy, promoting cogeneration and managing the demand for electricity, as well as by introducing energy saving standards for buildings, raising efficiency standards for electrical appliances and encouraging consumers to install energy saving lighting and electrical equipment such as high efficiency electrical appliances, energy saving motors, electronic fluorescent light ballasts, high efficiency luminaires, etc. In the case of electronic fluorescent lamp ballasts, they can be 30% more efficient and reduce the discomfort caused by the flickering of fluorescent lights. The newly developed high-fluorine energy-saving bulbs use 75% less energy and last ten times longer than conventional bulbs.
